Copolymer Composition Deviations from Mayo–Lewis Conventional Free Radical Behavior in Nitroxide Mediated Copolymerization

Composition deviations from the Mayo-Lewis behavior can be found in nitroxide mediated copolymerizations, which can be understood as arising from competitive equilibria represented by characteristic differences δXY, as explained in the paper. As illustrated in the picture, these deviations can be attenuated using an additional source of radicals. Copolymerization conditions that maximize or minimize these deviations are reported.
